Sunwell Instance
Author:admin Date:7/30/2009 Source:http://www.igcome.com
At the release of the patch, the players have access to a small expedition camp where they can start questing. However as the questing progresses, players will expand the camp and make it grow to a small town by retaking building to the enemies (running daily quests mostly).
Both 5-man and 25-man dungeons will be accessible from the start, but some bosses will have to be unlocked by running the daily quests (server-wide) and/or leveling your reputation. The 5-man instance will most likely requires Honored reputation with The Shattered Sun Offensive, the first three bosses of the 25-man instance will be accessible from the start, while the three last ones will have to be unlocked through questing.
There are some bugs in Sunwell Instance, so Sunwell Instance closed recently.
The world of warcraft's devs never seem to run out of woes with regard to the game's latest instance, the Sunwell Plateau.
Over at the game's Europe forums, Blizzard community moderator Thundgot is sending word that they've found "a pretty obnoxious bug" for the instance's Eredar Twins boss battle (Yes - it's them again).
This bug was making the fight against the two far more difficult than it should be, much like the issue that was recently plaguing the U.S. test realms. Thundgot notes that until they find a way to address the bug, the PTR's Sunwell instance will be temporarily closed.
You're probably wondering what the bug is, given that even Thundgot was calling it obnoxious. As to player Compo, it appears that the Twins were generating random amounts of damage that caused the party members to die. That is, in spite of them group having 14 healers.
If the issue really is that serious, we do hope the devs get to the bottom of this matter. Drop by again in case we receive any updates regarding this bug.
